hectic weekend....
December 9 Friday, Mark and I went to Stautzenberger College Faculty and Staff Party. It was fun, i always like to be with people especially in a relax environment. I like the people that i work with at the college, they are very friendly, intelligent, likeable people. The party was held at Laurel Hills Swimming and Tennis club in Maumee. After the party, some of us went to Sebastiano's Restaurant for a night cap then head home.
December 10 Saturday, we went to Sampaguita Ball, it is an annual event of the Filipino Association of Toledo. Everybody wears a formal or filipiniana attire. Mark was wearing a Barong Tagalog, he looked very handsome in barong. This event was held at the Toledo Plaza Hotel just near where i live. The food was good, they even had a lechon and it was very delicious.
December 11 Sunday, Camille had a Color Guard practice. She is doing very good in Sabre, Flag and Rifle. I commend Camille for having the discipline to do whatever she put her heart into. She is one of the most intelligent kid i have ever met, not because she is my daughter but her intelligence surpass what is expected of her for her age. She has been in the honor roll since she was in her elementary days, then to high school. She attends the Gifted Education program because of her excellence in all the subjects she is taking. She taught herself how to play the organ, paint, and many other things she can do in school and outside of school. I love her very much, she is my "girl angel" in life.
December 11 1:00 pm - i took Joey to his Christmas Musical in school. He plays the saxophone in his school band. I will post pictures of him once it develops so you will see him. Both Camille and Joey play saxophone in school band. I am so proud of Joey for his accomplishments, he is also a very disciplined kid when it comes to his education. The new program he is into is called "Destination Imagination", it is a program for kids who has the ability to create things and make it work. Joey is definitely my "boy angel" in life.
Pen out for the day...

The city of New Orleans is like a basin. The river is actually higher than the ground itself. The water was just being held by a levy. That levy gave in during the hurricane....they will rebuilt. Material things are always replaceable, it is the resilient spirit of the people that will rise again and will help rebuild the lost.

Sunday afternoon, i was trying to take a nap when Joey asked me to say "cheeeeeze". Those three paintings on the wall were created by Camille. She is so good in painting with watercolors. Mana sa Nanay. She also do crafts and many other things. This was taken in my house in Toledo which i bought over a year ago.
